What Automations Are Available

  • Missed-call text-back — caller hangs up before the AI answers, they get an instant text
  • Booking confirmation SMS — sent to the customer immediately after booking
  • Appointment reminder SMS — sent 24 hours before a scheduled job
  • Post-call follow-up — automated message sent after a captured lead isn't booked yet
  • Review request — ask satisfied customers for a Google review automatically

Each automation is a toggle in your dashboard. Most take under 30 seconds to enable.

Setting Up Missed-Call Text-Back

  1. Go to app.calllegend.comAutomations
  2. Click Missed-Call Text-Back
  3. Toggle it On
  4. Edit the default message or use the template
  5. Click Save

Default message: "Hey, this is [Business Name]. Sorry I missed your call — I'll get back to you shortly. Or reply to this text and I'll reach out right away."

Automatic Follow-Up After a Call

If a caller talks to your AI but doesn't book, you can trigger an automated follow-up sequence. Set the timing (e.g., 1 hour after the call) and the message. Most contractors run a simple 2-step sequence: a text 1 hour after, and an email the next morning.

Go to Automations → Follow-Up Sequence to configure it.

Review Request Automation

After a job is marked complete, your AI can automatically text the customer asking for a Google review. This is the easiest way to build your online reputation without ever having to ask in person.

  1. Go to Automations → Review Requests
  2. Paste your Google review link
  3. Set the trigger: "X hours after job completion"
  4. Toggle On and save
