Where to Set Your Hours
Go to app.calllegend.com → Agents → select your agent → Edit → Business Hours. Set your open days and hours for each day. Click Save.
During Business Hours vs. After Hours
During business hours, your AI greets callers, qualifies them, and offers to book or schedule a callback. It behaves as your primary receptionist.
After hours, the AI still answers (unless you disable it). It acknowledges the time, captures the lead, and tells the caller you'll follow up in the morning. No caller hits voicemail.
Emergency Call Handling
You can flag certain call types as emergencies — burst pipes, no heat in winter, electrical hazard, gas smell. When a caller describes an emergency:
- The AI acknowledges urgency immediately
- Captures full contact info and the situation
- Sends you an immediate SMS notification — even at 2am
To enable this, go to Agent Editor → Emergency Keywords and add the phrases that should trigger the urgent alert. Examples: "no heat," "water everywhere," "pipe burst," "gas leak."
Holiday and Vacation Mode
Going on vacation? Need to pause for a week? Go to Agent Editor → Availability → Vacation Mode. Toggle it on and set the date range. The AI will tell callers you're unavailable until a specific date and offer to take their info for when you're back.
You can also set individual holiday dates so the AI handles them differently than a normal day.
A homeowner with a flooded basement doesn't wait until morning. They call whoever answers. After-hours calls that book jobs while you sleep are pure profit. Most customers leave their AI running around the clock.
